Lost Coast Downtown Brown Ale poured a gorgeous mahogany into the glass with little observable carbonation and a sticky tan head. The nose was led by roasted nuts and a dry malt background.
Lost Coast Downtown Brown Ale had a nutty, earthy opening that gave way to a rising dark sweetness and a slow thickening. The dry malt focus of the body was a little grainy on the fade.
A very middle of the road brown ale, Lost Coast Downtown Brown Ale is another drinkable but mild offering from Lost Coast Brewing.
