Pretty Things Jack D’Or Saison American, a tale beer offered by Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project, poured a golden orange into the glass, with a white, whipped head that left the glass sticky. The nose was mostly comprised of Belgian yeast notes of bubblegum, clove, and grass.
Pretty Things Jack D’Or Saison opened dry and herby, with pepper and funky spices leading the charge. For a saison, the hops were a bit more pronounced than usual, lending a piney resin to the mix over a cracker-dry malt body. A banana –like sweetness came through before the saison ended dry and spicy.
