Sam Adams Light Lager poured into the glass with a small white head capping a heavily carbonated, iced tea hued amber body. The nose was led by dry corn, subtle sweetness, and a barely-there herbal hop spice.
Sam Adams Light opened bright, starting with a masa-corn flavor that faded into a completely hollow middle; no body and no flavor to follow through. Some grassy notes did show up in the fade, and there was a thankful absence of bitterness.
Sam Adams Light is great if you don't want a beer but don’t want a soda. Then again… I’d probably just grab a mineral water.
