Kelmbacher Brewery EKU Pils Pilsner poured a weak, dull yellow in the glass with some carbonation and a bright fizzy head. The nose was a mix of bright, citrusy lemons and grassy grain.
Kelmbacher Brewery EKU Pils Pilsner followed through on it’s nose with a lemon and mineral start settling into a semi-sweet grain and grass body. The hops contributed to the grass taste, but it was really the malt profile that stood out. The pilsner ended on a smooth note as the hops faded.
Kelmbacher Brewery EKU Pils Pilsner is a good representative of the pilsner style, but not outstanding.
